Bringing smiles to the faces of children at Christmas...
Christmas Assistance Program
The purpose of the Christmas Assistance Program, offered by Santa’s Elves of Indy, is to provide Christmas gifts to those children whose families are currently experiencing a financial hardship during the holiday season. Our main focus is to help those families that are unable to receive assistance through other area programs that are income restricted. While we do not restrict the income of families being assisted, we do evaluate each case individually and prioritize each family based on the severity of their need. Please read below for assistance guidelines and application requirements.
Families are not able to apply for assistance from our program in consecutive years.
Families may receive assistance a maximum of 2 times per 5 year period in order to allow us to assist as many different families as possible.
Applicants must not have been approved for holiday assistance, Angel Tree, or other programs through another charity or non-profit agency, unless it is only for food.
The parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) must be the person applying for the assistance.
Assistance may be requested for children ages 13 and younger. Families with children 13 and younger, as well as 14-18, will also be considered.
Families must live within 20 miles of downtown Indianapolis.
If your family meets the above requirements, and you would like to request assistance, please click the button below to submit your request.
Requests will be accepted from September 15th-October 15th, 2017. Families will be notified no later than October 21st of their approval status (Approved, Not Approved (including reason), or Waiting List). Approved families will be given further instructions at that time.
